Hi, I’m Allison

I’m a born-and-raised New Yorker who found her way to this beautiful city and never left.

My great-grandparents were from Barcelona, so I always felt a pull toward it. In 2015, I made it official. We packed up our life outside Philadelphia and I moved here with my husband and two kids. It was the best decision we ever made.

Before starting Spanish Wanderlust, I spent years as an elementary special education teacher. That experience changed how I see everything. Teaching gave me the ability to read people, to make things fun and accessible, and to truly meet someone where they are. I bring all of that into every tour I lead.

Spanish Wanderlust is personal to me. Every experience I create is private and built around you – your interests, your pace, your travel style. Whether you love architecture, food, history, or just wandering somewhere beautiful, I’ll put together something that feels nothing like a typical tour.

I speak Spanish, which means you get a real local experience. We can stop and chat with shopkeepers, discover places only locals know, and experience Barcelona the way it was meant to be experienced.
